This slub cotton saree is crafted with Chuna Patri Handblock printing. Chuna Patri can also be called as the alchemy of artisans. It's a discharge print technique that doesn't use any dye still creates perfect black and white. Fabric dipped in a solution of patri (Aniline Hydrochloride), Copper Sulphate & Potassium Chlorate for a quiet time. While it is wet, with the help of Gum and Chuna (Lime), designs are printed upon it. As the fabric dries it starts to show its magic turning from green to black.

It’s a Handprinted Slub Cotton Saree which is a comfortable cotton fabric resembling textures of linen fabric. It’s a 5.5 mtr saree drape with an exclusive 80 cm blouse piece to go with. Recommended separate wash in cold water with mild detergent only or dry-clean & there are chances of color bleeding which is a sign of the genuineness of prints and dying
