Ikat weave is a blend of many traditions, Ikat word originating from the Indonesian languages and means "to bind". The technique involves binding individual yarns or bundles of yarns with a tight wrapping, then dyeing the yarns, and altering the binding to create different patterns. Plume Ikat is beautfully weaved pattern of a peackcock's feather and shows beautifully as a lampshade.
